I wanted to post that I have several places in Europe I would love to go see.

Week 1 - December 2012

Months have passed and I haven't been out exploring much...

Been working 40hrs each week with overtime options, but today and tomorrow are my off days.

Today's activities so far:

• Laundry! 2 piles finished and there has been cleaning and organizing the desks and dressers in my room.

• Built a desktop computer with my older equipment. The newer computer will have some better equipment in it. I will save my geeky description, but the setup stands right now as:
• CPU: 8-Core AMD FX-8150 3.6Ghz
• RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600Mhz
• Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
• Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H100
• PSU: CorsairTX750W
• GPU: AMD Sapphire Radeon HD 6870
• HDD: 2TB Samsung, 1TB Samsung, and a 250GB WD
• Optical Drives: DVD Player + Writer and BluRay Player

1 entire month...
Been waiting to get a stretch of free time, but mostly just forgot.

ON to the hiking:
Contrary to the namesake of this lake, there is no lava. I searched about 25% of the lake and wasn't able to find any "Lava."
I made fire with my friends and got warmer, sorta. We had drizzling rain for the entire length of this hike. They had fun nonetheless... I have a bit of information for this hike.

• 2.66miles (one-way)
• 1,529 feet (elevation gain, ending in 7,123 feet)

Fun adventure completed!  The visiting friend and two local buddies all had fun for this first time going up to Lava Lake.

I was able to make it outside with my bro today. We went bouldering and if you get a chance you might like it. Getting outside and playing a little ultimate frisbee helped too.

Got to meet some new friends and afterwards we all went to Subway. Turned out to be a fun little adventure ;-)

Now to conquer the week ahead!  Onward we go, on a great adventure we call life!!
